You look but don’t see
me. Within your view
invisible to your eyes.
Discomfort or unconscious
choice. I cannot be a character
in the story of your world.
Revisit the snapshot
years later, silhouetted,
my image lives.

I like Kristin’s interpretation 😀 I feel that this poem speaks of desired attention that doesn’t come your way…sometimes we just want to be recognised for a moment or more simply, loved. ‘My image lives’ Seems like a bit of a sad line, things not changing.
