A benevolent view

what you had always assumed

to be solid, now soggy sadness

water warped windows with

a view misguided, bended

memories altered the truth

will you forgive yourself

for all that was unseen before?

  1. OH Ali, I so completely love this poem. Self-forgiveness is incredibly important, and there is self-compassion moving through the words – I could feel the energy of this. Just opening the inquiry of whether you can forgive yourself does beautiful things inside.

I’m honored that you shared this post for #ForgivingFridays. Thank you for being here, Ali! Will include in tomorrow’s blog! Blessings to you.
    Love and Light,
    Debbie
