what you think is the opposition
dressed in defenses worn comfortably
is only, just another
scared, eyes-wide and searching
no different than the face in
your bathroom mirror each morning

So true!!! It is fear and hate that are the true “enemy.” And sadly, they can be very formidable. But I still believe that the power of love, peace and understanding is the strongest.
