I’m Gonna Walk It With You

IMG_5344

“Well it looks like it might be a hard road but I’m gonna walk it with you.
And you know that you might have a heavy load but I can carry some too.”

This song is carrying me forward. I am learning the words. I am singing out even when my voice doesn’t sound pretty. Music heals and keeps us breathing. Sing yourself through the day. Here is the Youtube video. “I’m Gonna Walk It With You” by Brian Claflin and Ellie Grace

All of us
together
while separate
singing softly, for life
as we walk this road
let’s share the load
come together, while apart
in love.

Sending love to all those who are scared, worried, sheltering in place. Please let me know how you are doing. I am available to listen and write with you via skype, facetime or whatsapp. Together we will get through this.

  1. Hi Ali,

Thank you for posting these beautiful lines. We all need positivity around us now, more than ever.

I was going to have a graduation ceremony this summer, but now it will be cancelled. My sister was to get married in April, unfortunately that will be delayed. There are a thousand and one ‘important’ things in life we all are waiting to get back to.

But Covid-19 has reminded us to do our number one task. STOP. BREATHE.LIVE. PEACEFULLY.

Yes, it’s devastating to read statistics of rising deaths and positive cases. All we can do now is, stay put and cherish the advantages of this pandemic. Decreasing pollution, more staying in touch with our friends and family, self care and honing our talents/ hobbies.

Thank you again, I wish you and your loved ones great health and happiness 🙂

    1. Salonie,
There are many disappointments and sadness to process. It sounds like you have worked through some challenging feelings and reached a state of gratitude. Well done. I agree that what matters most is to focus on loving action and to take it one day at a time. I am and will continue to dig deep to share words of hope. Take care and shine your light.

    1. I just love this song and singing it gives me strength. Life is very different here right now. Staying home. Stores with empty shelves and people keeping their distance. Luckily, we had a beautiful sunny day. I hope you are well. Take care.

      1. Thanks, Ali! I am good…sometimes worried, sometimes frustrated, but mostly good. As for the store shelves, they will refill. Around here, it’s hit–or-miss, depending on when the delivery trucks come. I keep reminding myself that I may not be able to get all I want, but I can get what I need. Thanks again, and I hope you and your family are doing well too. Together, we will get through this!

  2. God bless you, Ali! I stand beside you using my pictures and words shouting words of love dripping with beauty. I’ve been doing so for years so it seems my Inner Guidance has been teaching me to apply what I have learned for these very present day times we are living in. Keep smiling …. (((HUGS)))!! XO

  3. Thank you for these absolutely beautiful words, Ali!
We are “sheltering in place”, weathering long line-ups, empty shelves and panic buying…each day after the earliest of evening news, we put on our old CD’s to dance and sing!
Take good care and stay safe…

    1. Vincent, I truly appreciate this nomination. My hope is to bring light to all my readers. But I do not participate in blogging awards. I choose instead to put my energy into writing and responding to other bloggers. Good luck and stay healthy.
