This poem really spoke to me! Yes, we all need that fire by the beach, to burn away all the fear, anxiety and anger…..Love is stronger and will get us through.
So, so true worrying won’t help, yes we have to know what is going on in the world but allowing it consume us 24/7 – not a good thing. Great poem would never have found but for Ivor.
a vivid and powerful poem … a worthy use of those negative energies that drag us down! Transform them into the warm fire of love 🙂
Really great composition!
yes and this is pushing too many buttons as anxiety and fear take over … staying calm, using humour boosts our immune systems so we need to stay grounded Ali 🙂
I expect to eventually get COVID-19 though I’m doing all the recommended things to deter that … I also expect to recover when I do get it … the waiting game is unsettling, and I could be of more help to others if I’d already had it, gotten over it … but my overall response so far is patience with a touch of curiosity.
Oh Ali. So beautiful. This is balm for our souls. I wish the language – the words being used in all of this were different. This beautiful poem evokes feelings of powerful collective healing as I envision it unfolding as you’ve described. Thank you.

A superbly poignant poem by Ali…. come join us at the bonfire on the beach…. and watch the flames of love burn freely…🧡💛🌏
Thank you Ivor. With all the people in our world fighting coronavirus my heart can feel sad. I sat down to write a message of hope this morning and this is it. I hope that it will inspire actions of love for each other and our planet. Thank you so very much for sharing this with your readers. Take good care.
Thank you Ivor. I am so concerned about our world and what we are facing. I want to send love and hope to all. The game isn’t over. We need to rise up.
Take care.
