Blindsighted – Poem by Ali Grimshaw

As we stand together
the ocean’s roar a comfort
lullaby of constant.

You squeeze
my hand. I echo
the motion in return.

Reliable rolling waves,
we count on
when the world is crashing.

      1. I too love the Oregon Coast beaches (as well as Washington beaches). My son and his wife were married on the beach down there in Newport — at high tide, with a full moon yet! It was amazingly atmospheric.
Wishing you all the best for the New Year, Ali!
