Writing poetry has given me a way to touch other’s lives, become more self aware and create connections across the globe. Through this blog, I give to you my words and my compassionate guidance as a facilitator of writing circles that help us see ourselves and each other with the light of love.
When depression, anxiety, grief or fear have a hold on your heart it is comforting to visit a place that reminds you that you are not alone. Like a blackout, circumstances can be disorienting and this can add to the struggle. Flashlight Batteries is place that offers hope and a mirror for tough times. It is dedicated to all who struggle and don’t believe that anyone else could possibly feel the same way.

I once was ashamed about me having depression and social anxiety but writing helped me a lot. Though I’m in love with writing when I was still in elementary days but didn’t have the guts to share them in public. I tried creating my own blog and thankful that I did. It’s of a great help to me, especially during my breakdowns and being suicidal. I’d visit here often. ❤
