This is a really lovely poem, Ali. When you wrote ‘I am the water too’ it made me think that things are always changing around us, and we are also changing within. Sometimes we have to let go and go with the flow, seeing where it takes us. Hope is also what keeps us going. A lovely shot of you along Hope Street. How apt. Hope you are doing well, Ali 😊
Mabel,
It’s interesting that you connected with the line about being one with water. For me it’s freeing, I don’t have to try to be when I remember that I am water too. ❤️ thank you so much for the gift of reflecting back how you experience my poems. I am honored by the time you give. Wishing you a beautiful day.
