a flower
a focus
a place to lean your eyes
for a moment
when the world is blurred brutal
consider carefully your viewpoint
follow a flower's form
find its simple scent
in a day of temperatures rising
feel the stones strongly cool
your feet

This photo was taken in Croatia. When the world’s hate feels like too much, I can always trust in nature for moments of respite. Find a flower and follow its lead.

This is a gorgeous poem my friend. And my favorite part is what you wrote about the picture… Find a flower and follow its lead. Magnificent advice ♥️ ~Kirsten *Be well. Do Good. Shine Bright. *

Maybe it is the soil we should seek, just like the flowers.

What a perfect reply. It’s a powerful question to ask.”How are we nurturing the ground from which we grow?”

What a wonderful image to hold in one’s head in this troubling world–cool stones and bright flowers. 💙

Not a single bloom anywhere in sight at present in this brutally blurred world…Maybe soon, but not soon enough. Great stuff, AG. Thanks

No blooms here either. I’m watching for the metaphorical ones like the blooming of a smile on someone’s face. Thanks for reading.
