A View from Above

Outside the window

traffic below creeping away from all that matters.

Amongst the jammed up colors,

a pedestrian easily weaves through the congestion

slipping through the heavy flow of life.

gracefully he continues while surrounded by the unmoving,

often pausing to look up.

He alone sees the clouds above the tall buildings.

No one else remembers the sky.

    1. Nina,
Sorry for the late reply. Your message ended up in my spam file.
Yes, I use only my own photos now. I love taking them and looking back through them to find a match after I have written a poem. Thank you.

      1. No problem Ali. 🙂 I experienced the same when I was new to blogging. I didn’t realize that some comments go to spam…Unfortunately for me, it was toooooo late to retrieve nor reply on those comments. 🙂
Thank you for still responding. I appreciate it!
