What is the cost of waiting?

“In spite of the flames of tragedy, a poem is a glowing ember, making visible the power of hope, and the human spirit. We must not only read and watch, we are called by the poet to bring the flame back to the ember, to do what we can to help people not only to survive, but to thrive.” – Why Poetry Matters from Huffington Post

  1. Lovely message, Ali. We can wait, but if we get up and take our chances, create some thing out of nothing, life would be a little less boring. Wait and sometimes something out there might pass us by and we would miss the opportunity of a lifetime. Hope you are having a good day, and have a good week.

    1. Great to hear from you Mabel. I hope this poem will inspire others to reflect on what holds them back. It is a powerful way to gain insight into how our thinking impacts our choices. Thanks for sharing your reflection.
      Have an awesome weekend.
