Lavender Fields – Poem by Ali Grimshaw

tending melancholy rows of dusk
swaying scented thoughts
light eases away toward your side
of the world

I close my eyes
to listen

our Mother Earth
is singing us home

  1. We have two ears and one mouth, so we should listen twice as much…

Thunder speaks now at this summer dusking – Along with some much needed soothing rhythm of rain.

    1. Yes, listening is so powerful. Ron, please consider joining me for this writing circle on Monday, 8/23 at 4:00 PDT. Ivor will be there from Australia. Magic will happen. I really appreciate the playfulness in your writing and I think you would get a huge kick out of it. Let me know if you have any questions.
