Ali, I like your rhyme. I like this, I like writing of decisions. You know, sometimes I don’t make a choice, let nature, the group, my parents or other significants, or the wind decide for me. Or I toss a coin. Of course, then my decision, my choice, would be not to make one. Sometimes it’s neglect or forgetfulness also.

BTW, sorry I am late in returning your comment, I am slowly dipping into a September sabbatical.

Jim,
I think we could write volumes about choices – how we make them or defer to others, etc.

Different kinds of choices. I like this one: choices encircle or fence some out.
Have a good weekend.

Always keep an open mind, one even willing to change if you find a different truth — just always go with your truth — and investigate ongoingly to have it be your truth. I Like this Ali… 🙂✌🏼❤️

Rob,
I appreciate your reflection. Keeping an open mind is sometimes challenging and always worth it in my opinion. I love how poetry can support us in considering thoughts we may have not been willing to consider before.☮️

Thanks for choosing to join in! I love rhyme, so keep it up, I love the image of choices either encircling us in, or keeping us out, depending on perspective. Well done.

Thanks so much for sharing your feedback. Choices hold so much possibility and also can feel heavy at times. I hope the rhyming brought some lightness to this topic.
